Granger ISD, a Consortium Associate district, is one of the three schools from across the nation highlighted in a January 2017 report by John Hopkins Institute for Education Policy and the Alliance for Excellent Education.

The report highlights Granger ISD’s participation in the OECD (PISA-based) Test for Schools. Unlike the STAAR, the test asks students to “take what they’ve learned and apply it to novel situations” and “drives learning toward creative engagement.”

Granger ISD uses the OECD Test as one of multiple measures to assess student learning because it provides an information-rich report that provides teachers with valuable insight and feedback they can use to alter instruction.
