TASA is pleased to announce a new partnership with engage2learn (e2L) to help bring e2L’s new, more affordable Do-it-Yourself (DIY) solutions to school districts of all sizes and in every corner of the state.
e2L’s Experience
Since 2011, e2L has assisted more than 200 districts — primarily in Texas — in designing culture and systems, modernizing teaching and learning through coaching teachers, leaders, and coaches, and growing future-proof learners who are life-ready. e2L’s work has always been aligned to TASA’s vision and beliefs about public education, as e2L’s mission is to ensure that the neighborhood public school is the first choice for every family. e2L’s actionable processes have been a key for many Texas districts to make the New Vision for Public Education a reality. Districts that have partnered with e2L are attaining double-digit increases in student engagement and achievement.
New DIY Solutions
e2L is partnering with TASA to make these proven processes more readily available to districts at about half the cost through a do-it-yourself solution. With DIY, districts have the power to use these results-driven processes in an easy-to-follow, step-by-step process.
With e2L’s DIYs, districts have the capability to develop:
- a Strategic Vision framework
- a Campus Vision Design
- a Learning Innovation Framework (LIFe)
- a Learner Profile
- an Educator Profile
- a Leader Profile
- a Culture Vision
- Community Accountability
Each DIY solution is based on design thinking and the backward-design methodology honed during the last seven years by e2L’s team of Texas educators. The DIY platform walks users through the process from beginning to end with an app that contains all the templates for their work, an online course with facilitation guides, and guidelines to help develop district plans. To see the results of e2L partner districts firsthand, e2L is hosting two free sessions showcasing how Arlington ISD and Fort Worth ISD (November 28) as well as El Paso ISD (November 30) are modernizing the learning experience to create future-ready learners.
